Ok, so here is my question.  I have read on here that when you revise from band to RNY your weight loss is slower...  My question is on average how much have you lost, and how long has it taken you?
Thanks so much!

That could be true I had a revision from the band to RNY in May it has been three months and I have lost about 45 pounds.  I am still glad that I did it.  That is 45 pounds I could not get off with the band.

It has been 3 1/2 months since my revision from Band to RNY.  I have lost 35 lbs, and @ a weight loss stall right now...but happy and doing great!

My doctor explained that if you get RNY to start, they are able to make a perfectly measured pouch. When we go to from band to RNY, they work around scar tissue so we may end up with a slightly larger pouch.

Personally, I don't think I'm losing slow.

I never lost that much with the band so I am very happy.........it will be 8 weeks on the 15th of August......couldn't be happier with my decision.  Have had zero problems.
