Jamie, its the worst.  It states for approval bmi of 40.  Go figure.  I guess my back pain with the bulging and slipped disks, knee pain and edema in my right foot don't count.

The only thing that I would worry about is the fact that the insurance company my not like the fact that you gained weight...
Make sure that you read the whole policy....

I think after you speak to Dr Roslin and get his opinion you will know what you should do next.  Jody is right, you dont want to give them another lame reason to deny you.  Like Jamie said I will never understand these insurance companies and their 'real' purpose.

I have an appointment with him on Friday so we will see what he says.  Good luck tomorrow on your peer to peer review.  You will get your approval.

Hi
My name is Gina and had my bypass in 2006.  I never got down to an ideal weight.  My lowest was 208.  I am curryently back up to 247.  It has been a struggle for me all these years to get to 208(Started at 345).  So Im trying for a revision.  Does anyone know if State Aid( HIP Medicaid / HP) covers the revisiois?

Hi Gina,

I wold contact them and ask or ask your PCP for a referral.  If you have a doctor in mind I would contact their offices.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.  Good luck with your journey.
