Dr. Keshishian? Dr. Rabkin? HELP!

Anyone have difficulty with Dr. Keshishian's receptionist? I had to call three times today to convince her that I do have bariatric coverage. I've been around this block before! Any Keshishian patients have comments on experiences in the office? I have a bad taste in my mouth after this morning... Called Dr. Rabkin's office- the receptionist was awesome and I got a much better feeling with him than with Dr. K's gal. Any help/input is appreciated!

Pre-band highest weight: 244
Pre-band surgery weight: 233
Lowest: 199 ( for, like, a day)
CW: 260 (yes, with the band!)

Current Fill: 5cc in 10cc band

Which office? I have been using the Glendale office for 2 years..... Having insurance issues~~STILL trying to have surgery, and I have not had a hard time at all.

Who are you dealing with, if it is the Glendale office?

I flew from Alaska to California in March, and had a in-person consult with him, HE IS THE BOMB!!!! All of this is from the INSURANCE, not him or his office.

It was the Glendale office but I don't want to say her name here. I see that Dr. K sometimes responds so I dont' want to burn any bridges. Even though I started out poorly, I think I still might continue the pursuit of the DS with Dr. Keshishian. Thanks for your input.

BTW- I am waiting to hear about your appeal!!! Let us know right away!

I say you KEEP GOING!!!!

I will let everyone know about the determination of my appeal..... I want to say APPROVED, so I hope that will be the answer!!!!

I should hear by the end of the month. Since this is the appeal process, I have to wait until the Quarterly Board meeting for the determination. Which I hope will be an approval!!!!!!
