Dr Roslin is the best congrats and they move very fast with everything, paperwork, approvals, and surgery-how exciting, you will love getting rid of pouch and being able to eat normal amounts of food...

yes I am happy to get rid of this pouch, the dumping, hypogylcemia etc.... I am nervous and excited at the same time.

Dana, Dr. Roslin asked me to do the CT Scan because the endoscopy didn't show my entire RNY.  I had it done at Lenox Hill so he got the results right away.  It is common to have a CT Scan if you are thinking of revision.  It gives the doctor an idea of what your anatomy looks like.

The CT scan shows a lot.  Roslin referred me to get it.  Its his way of knowing what he is getting himself into before the surgery. For me, it revealed a loarge pouch and a fistual, hernia too.  Endoscopy confirmed the pouch size.  I think it also shows him scar tissue.
