DENIED
Dig out your insurance book, does it say that in there, or did you get a letter stating that you needed to have a BMI of 50 or above? You should do a "shout Out" on the DS board for Diana Cox, she is AWSOME & might be able to help with the 50 or above thing. Does the insurance say that the DS is "investigational" with people of BMI's less than 50?

I just don't understand the denial because in the policy, it states that they will look at the weight within the last 2 years b/c of course, BMI fluctuates. I had a BMI of up to 52 in the last 2 years. Its almost like they didn't look at that information. In which case, they should when they get my appeal. I'm hoping.
