I had a failed RNY and revised to a RNY. I did not need to change surgeries. It depends on how the surgeon does his work.

WLS, whether it be an initial surgery or revision, should be based on the patient's needs and desires for surgery type, not the surgeon's...I hope your revision works out.

Definitely. My pouch - though my own fault - was extended. I spoke with my surgeon and he did the necessary steps needed to get me back on track. And thank you. This go around is definitely working
