very worried about insurance requirements
I wish you luck in you journey to Revision...
Sexy... The person who did my surgery moved his practice from Texas to Wisconsin less the a year after my surgery. When he left none of us could find our records... No other Surgeons in my area would help any of us out. The one who would see Hahns former patience wanted $1500 up front and then $150 everytime we went for a visit. So I have had no aftercare since then.... I sent them some reciepts form Weigh****chers and Nutri system.... Hopefully that will be enough,
Look at ds facts.com!!!!! I found this link UNDER the Articles section about the BMI of over 50 requirements:
http://www.dsfacts.com/Duodenal-Switch-for-Morbid-Obesity.ht ml
That is a REALLY good site to RESEARCH, lots and lots of published articles from SURGEONS, who have proven the insurance companies wrong with these articles.
(Meaning, the surgeons did the research, published the article, and then the patient {you and me} have had to give these articles to the insurance companies to back up your claim)
Good luck on your journey & KEEP POSTING!!!!!

Isn't it amazing how we react to things, and then, once we have had time to 'digest' it, then our attitudes can change???
Keep us posted!!!!!
