Got my dates

I received a call from the Drs. office a few days ago, and I have my dates for my revision.  I get my band out on March 22, 2011--thanks goodness since I have been having nothing but problems the past three weeks--ever since I got my last fill (thought I would try one more time).  If all looks well, I could get my sleeve as early as May 2, 2011.  They just have to see what everything looks like in there.  I am so relieved and so happy!

Hooray and count your blessings there are soooo many of us that would love to do the same. Hope your surgery and recovery is quick and nearly pain free!

Congrats.  I have never had the band but hear so many people have problems.  I am looking into revision and looking into a sleeve or DS, not still too sure of the difference, so I'm in the research stage.

I'm  no expert, but the sleeve is just the restriction part of a DS.  The DS part is the malabsorption part.  So, I guess it would depend on which you need.  Good luck!
