Individual insurance that will cover DS revision

Good Morning,
Does anyone know of an Individual plan that I could purchase that will cover my DS revision?  My insurance has denied me saying DS is not a covered benefit but they are more than happy to cover another Gastric Bypass revision (no thanks).  I live in Maryland and I am planning on having Dr. Vanguri perform my surgery.  Thanks  S

Did you already have the DS? I am a DS looking for a revision.

I heard that it was impossible to find an individual policy that covers WLS because otherwise people would buy the policy, have the surgery and then drop it.
If your current policy covers revisions but not DS revisions you have a good chance of appealing. You might go onto the DS board and find out what others have done to get their insurance companies to cover their surgery.
