Sleeve to RNY

Hello,
I want to know has anyone went from having the gastric sleeve to rny bypass?

I don't hear much of that. It would be better to go to the DS, where they would do the intestinal switch without having to mess with the whole stomach/pouch thing. That's where leaks are likely.

I can't imagine what anyone would do this. The long-term weight loss is about the same for the two procedures. The logical move would be to add the 'switch' portion of the DS, to add malabsorption.

Well, actually, the logical thing would be to have the complete DS to begin with. (*grin*)
