RNY in 04, about to revise to a mini distal bypass.. Anyone else?

 I had a RNY in 04 and I am now having a mini distal bypass revision next week.  Has anyone else done this?  If so, how is it and do you have any suggestions about how to eat afterwards? Nothing is being done to my stomache, so I'm not going to be dealing with pouch issues. I want this to work and any help would be great!!!

Never heard of a "mini distal bypass" but I suggest you do some more research.  Please check out the duodenal switch forum and present this over there  http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/ds/

 Thanks Zee!  Mini Distal Bypass is not the official name for the surgery... I just don't know what to call it.  I do know all the details of what I'm having done, just don't have a name for it.  I will take a look at that forum...

I had RNY in 2003, revised to the DS in 2009. It's like night & day. I'm not fighting to lose, and I don't have any of those RNY issues anymore.
