Over 9 years ago...
I had my RNY (2-26-2002). And since 2004 have been blaming myself for failing on gaining 1/2 of my weight back. I came to the realization in 2009.............. After MUCH researching, that "It is NOT all me"
I am getting ready to fly down to see Dr. Keshishian down in California on March 2nd. I leave Alaska on the palne at 1am. Since I will be getting into Burbank so late in the afternoon, and he is not in his office on Tuesdays, I will be seeing him first thing Wednesday for my face-to-face consult. Believe me, if my insurance would have pre-approved me by now, I would hve done the consult over the phone with him. But, since this is my journey, and my insurance, this is how things are going on my road. Heh. Wish I could have saved the $1,000.00 in travel expenses, but, in the end, it will all BE WORTH IT!!! I will be back in Alaska on Saturday evening.

Thank YOU, Sophia!!!! All I know, is that once I am back home.... I am guessing the Dr. K's office will once AGAIN submit into the insurnace company for the pre-approval. My fingers are crossed that him and I meet, and we get a few tests repeated, and the results show SOMETHING that the insurance company cannot DENY for my revision!!!!
Thank you for cheering me on!!! (I truely need it!!!) My hubby is having a hard time wrapping his head around everything as he just does not understand the mechanics of the revision and how it will help me, so I am the "butt-end" of all of his frustrations which.... you guessed it = equals STRESS on my part.
