BAND FAILURE

Is it just my area, or the channals I watch but, I haven't seen a band (lap or realize) in almost a year?

My gastro doc told me last week that a lot of bariatric docs are moving away from the lapband because they are starting to realize how flawed it is as a long term solution for obesity.

The lapband advertising will keep working, but reputable doctors will inform patients of the myriad complications that often arise with lapbanding. I think we're going to see a downward trend when it comes to lapband surgery.
