I have made my decion after a few weeks of research and debating and I have decided to go from my RNY to a DS. Had my RNY 8 yreas ago and have gained back 60 pds in the last year. I found a Dr who does revisions and I have a consult date for March 7th...Very nervous, but I know this what I have to do..

Who is your revision surgeon. Make sure you ask about him in the forums. This revision needs a highly skilled surgeon as i am sure you understand.

Dr Keshishian will be doing mine.

He doesn't do RNY to DS revisions.

There are very few doctors who can and will do it. They'll tell you that they do it to get you into the door, then talk you into an ERNY. If you want a list of vetted DS surgeons, go to dsfacts.com. If you'd asked about him on the DS forum, you'd know that he doesn't do this.

Read that post. It comes from years of experience on these boards.
