It will pay for it as long as it is medically necessary and also to revise to a different surgery I think you have to meet the original BMI requirements.

WLS 10/28/2002 Revision 7/23/2010

High Weight  (2002) 240 Revision Weight (2010) 220 Current Weight 115.

I had my revision in Nov and Medicare paid for the whole surgery.  The only thing I have to pay for is an endoscopy that I had before surgery.

I paid just my 20%.... well my secondary did.

I did still have to meet the bmi requirements. And of course use a center of excellence. I have NO regrets!

Hi, there__

Question-if you had the DS in January, 2011, why are you looking into a revision?  I'm not critical, just curious?
