Paperwork off to BCBS for approval!!!
My doctor's office just faxed out my packet to Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal for their approval for my revision!!!
The office said it takes up to 72 hrs for them to respond and my doc should have the official authorization by mid-next week! :)
I will see my doc right after that for my surgery date...i'm scared but so excited!
I had original RNY in 2005. I've gained 40 lbs back....I will be having a RNY to RNY revision (sorta)...doc is basically going to recut my pouch (making it smaller) and reconnecting it.
Keeping my fingers crossed everything goes smooth!
