OMG!!!! I'm approved for the revision from RNY to the DS

I've been approved.  I'm so thrilled.  I called to check on the status and received the authorization number.  Dr. K's office is waiting on the fax to come in and then will give me a date.

Now, I'm going to exhale and cry.  I've been so nervous.  My journey and relationship with obesity has been a roller coaster ride.  Soon, I will be able to get off and walk away from obesity without a backwards glance.

I also want to share that I received a notice from my carrier on 12/4 that was dated on 12/2 informing me that I needed to respond to their request for further information within 72 hours of the date of the letter.  So, I had until 12/5, Sunday at midnight.  I researched all I could and wrote the letter myself and faxed it in.  The reviewer, a RN, did not make a decision and forwarded my information to the Medical Director who approved the authorization this morning.

OMG....I will be on my way to Delano soon.
