how far out?

how far out do u have to be for a revision? i had gastric feb this year an well i only went from 267 to 217. it never brought me anywhere near to what i need to be.

I think most insurances will say 24 months (I had Aetna and mine did, I was about 2 days shy of it when I had surgery).  If there are major complications, they will disregard the time limit.  Feb of this year is pretty soon though,  Be patient.  You should still lose more weight.  It has only been 9 months.  No surgeon would do a revision that quickly unless there was a mechanical failure.

I think it depends on the surgeon and your insurance. I had my second lapband surgery in February and just had a revision to a bypass about a month ago. I would check your insurance policy to see what it says.
