No, the band works.  And for anyone to claim otherwise is pure ignorance.

If the band is so spiffy for you and works soooo well, why are you wanting yours revised to another surgery type?

You should tell those pesky people that do the weight loss/complication stats that they are all wrong and you are right and they are ignorant.

Do your RESEARCH! Read the statistics on the band. Read the medical journals published by MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. The band has a higher failure rate then the RNY! How can you call this ignorance????

If it works….why are you looking for a revision????? A little contradictory don't you think?

Contradictory? Oh yeah!!! Lol. She has just completely wasted everyones time here who bothered to reply and try to help her!

You know what they say..............YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!

Well, you're still got your "tool"---work it and quit whining. Or get your head out of your ass and get a better tool.

Lost 115 lbs. and was UNDER goal.

Looks like you've WASTED time with the band, too.

And now you've gained back 70 lbs.! If your band works why did that happen??? Lol.

And yes, I have completely wasted my time with the band. Unlike you though, I am smart enough to realize what a piece of CRAP the BAND is! Why do you think OTHER ppl go to the revision forum???

~I'm pretty bummed out. I was pretty jazzed to get a sleeve. Something to help me lose that 60 lbs, not work against me, like it seems my Lap Band has started to do.~

So make up your mind! The band works................or it works against you??? Which is it Brock???

Here's my A.W. story.  Banded 08/21/06 @ 320 lbs.  By 08/21/08 I was 205 lbs.  But by 08/21/10 I was back to 265 lbs., now check in around 275 lbs.

I can't seem to get the weight back off.  So I started thinking.....should I get a revision to another surgery?

Tell me your opinions.  Thanks!

STHU, keep the band, stay fat, and keep drinking the koolaid.

Enjoy that band.
