I had roux-n-y in 6/2008, started at 370, my lowest was 1/2010 and it was 214. I am 240 as of 10/10/10.

Suggestions, types of revisions... anything?

RNY 2002 at 407, lost down to 233.  Now back up to 336 and have filed with insurance for DS.  Please research ALL your options and go with the one which you think will do best by you.  Best of luck.

I had RNY 2006 started 455 got down to 290 back up to 339-341. Waiting to hear from insurance about revision to DS, my paperwork was submitted last week. Just as the previous poster suggested please do a lot of reading before making your decision about a revision. There are so many people that are getting ready for their 3 surgery and it seems it is even more difficult to get.

Hi, I think you should research all of your options and decide which one makes the most sense to you. Just because a surgery is right for one doesn't mean it's right for you. Good luck and best wishes with whatever you choose to do!

Statistically, the DS is best for long-term weight loss. I revised to the DS after doing a lot of research. Read http://www.dsfacts.com/  They have articles and references on the site.
