a Dr. supervised diet for a revision? I am going in this to see my pcp. However, I'm pretty sure something is going on inside from my past RNY. I have a history of obstruction issues and was in hopes that insurance might approve me to go in now and not wait. Any ideas on this one???Thank you

We have Aetna and they now require a 6 month doctor supervised diet and physical exercise in order to get an approval for a revision.

I wonder why some of the Aetna polices say 3 months and others say 6.  Ours is 3 .  I was just hoping if the Dr. says the obstructions need dealt with now I could do everything at once.

You might want to check it out online because I know that Aetna had a change in policy in April of 2010.
