Last pre approval appt

I just had my last pre approval appt. I'm so psyched. By the 10th of October I'll have a date. I'm so excited... course that could be as far away as christmas.

I am glad for you. Are you going to work with a psychologist or dietician with the revision. I am. Just to deal with some of the issues from band to bypass. I want to make this a success and focus on me and not let anything get in my way.

I am working closely with both. I see the psych once a month, more if I need it. And dietician I won't see until post op at this point, but then every 2 to 3 months, as I need.

Seems like I have more pre-op stuff to do than you.   I"m not sure what PA is?

I had to have
  - evidence of visits with a licensed nutritionist (I already did that, but getting the letter from nutritionist is taking some work),
  - a sleep study 
  - a letter of medical necessity.  The doctor didn't know what that was, so I wrote that for him.
  - DEXA report - not sure why doc's office wanted this, but I had it.

I wonder if insurance ever denies approval because the first surgery didn't work.
