Update: RNY to DS Journey
Yes, over a year ago, I submitted into insurance, and was not necessarily denied, but that they wanted more testing done (Upper GI & EGD) along with a food log.
I have also had 2 consults (psych & nutrition) expire, and am having to re-do them, hopefully they will be completed before the end of this month & maybe a possible light at the end of the tunnel, and another submission!!
Talk about dragging things out, but I can't give up my fight for my revision!!! Because if I give up, then the insurance company gets exactly what they want!!!

You have been an example to many of us as we've gone through our trippin insurance romp to our DS Revision! I can't imagine rallying for an entire year and staying as positive as you have been! ..... Sending prayers your way and swingin my front porch lizzards with good thoughts that you'll get your approval soon!

10 days until my psych eval. Then, we get ready to subit. THEN.... THAT danm Waiting Game Begins!!!!
It has to go to my primary - which will be denied, but it has to go there first, get denied, then, get sent over to the secondary...

Congrats on going to Dr. K - AK to CA is a bit of a trip, but at least not like Seattle to Spain! ;)

440/140/149 hw/cw/gw - 5'5" -300lbs -- bmi 73.2 to 24.8 :) GOAL MET 10/26/10!!.... Even made 140 September 2012. Been ranging 4-6lbs from 144-146 since then. Back to 140 December 2012, hoping to see it again after I feel better and start working out.
So, now, I have been pursuing the DS!!!!
