Putting a LapBand on top of Gastric ByPass

I am back from a surgeon who is not recommending the ROSE procedure, but is recommending a lapband added to my RNY pouch. Has anyone else done this? What has your experience been? Worth it? I have about 45 to 55 lbs to lose and low calorie/high protein has just not been working very well. Of course, there is the grazing that isn't helping at all. Experince, suggestions and advice sought. Thanks much.

I am not a revision to a lapband but a lapband pending a revision to another surgery due to severe slipping and a really bad Hiatal Hernia. I have heard several people who have had to do some type of revision after a rny as they say it gets past the honeymoon phase and then they quit losing or begin gaining back, I think as long as you follow the rules it should work for everyone.

There are several of us with the bob on this board. Get into some of my older posts and follow the threads. The research supports it. I am down 20 in 2 months.
