BC/BS Insurance - Federal

I had gastric bypass in 2005. Went from 300 to 150. I'm @ 200 rt. now. I've moved cities but had an an appt. w/a local doctor *****ferred me to a doctor who is doing revisions. My doctor works closely with him. My doctor has just finished his training with revisions but doesnt perform them yet...hence, the referel.

question is...if you have blue cross blue shield federal, how smooth did your process go with them paying. First time I had NO issues. I'm just curious how it will go this time if I have a revision. My both doctor's billing department said that if the doctor deems it medically necessary that there will be NO issues.

I am wondering the same thing and would appreciate any feedback. I'm in Massachusetts and though my weight gain is minimal, it's happening rapidly. I am anemic and have GERD and ulcers and am thinking there is a connection.
