I am scheduled for my Upper GI on Friday ....(I so dread this -- but I will force myself to drink extra water after - because the barium sticks to my small intestines like cement)

My doc appoint with my Band Doc is on Thursday 7/8.

I am getting my PCP letter and I will write a letter -- so all will be ready for my 7/8 appointment

I am optimistic - but realistic  but the good news is my insurance pays for a revision - so I am keeping my fingers crossed that he agrees my band problems warrant a revision at this time.

How are the other AETNA revisions gals going with their process?

Yes I can also get the DS revision - but I just have not gotten my head around that WLS yet.  Doing some research.

I have Aetna and was approved for my LapBand revisions from RNY in 2 days.  I then decided the Crapband wasn't worth it so I changed to DS.  I had to re-submit to insurance and again they approved my DS revision in 3 days.

Good luck with Aenta!  I hope you get a quick approval.

I was approved for a revision from band to VSG. I don't know about a one time wls policy though, don't recall seeing it. This is the second time I have been approved through them though.

I'm not an AETNA revision. I have medicare medicaid. I have my orientation wednesday, my pcp clearance thursday. And hopefully the few appts I'll need soon after.

I don't need to prior approve for my insurances. So I'm hoping the process is quick. I hate my band.
