RNY to DS revision in Canada

Hello All

Just wondering if there are any peeps out there who are from Canada and looking at a DS revision from a RNY? Would love to talk to you.

Ask this on the DS board.  I know of one who is going to Dr. Gagner in Canada but not really sure she is RNY to DS though.

I am having my RNY revised to a DS by Dr Gagner. He is in Montreal. Looks like my surgery will be the end of summer. PM me if you want to talk

I am also hoping to see Gagner for RNY to DS in Montreal. Why will your surgery be so far off?

Hi Jennifer, it is my decision to wait and nothing to do with Dr Gagner.  For the betterment of my family it just works so much better for me to have my surgery on September 23rd.  I would have LOVED to have taken the July 6th date he offered however I decided to hold out a bit longer

Thanks Michelle. I wanted that date too but am waiting for insurance to appropve change of surgeon.

It is under certain cir****tances. It's best to convince the doctor at the bariatric assessment centre and they will convince OHIP
