Waiting for the approval from AETNA

All of my paperwork for my revision has been sent to AETNA for my revision... I swear that I have called them almost everyday to check on the status... I can not wait!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that it is so close I want it to happen!

Good luck!!! When I first requested approval for my LapBand revision before deciding to switch to the DS I had my approval from Aetna back in 2 days!! I hope you get your answer just as quick!

Did you have your 1st surgery with Aetna? Im looking to get a revision from Lap Band to DS with Aetna again and hope I don't have to jump through hoops : (

No, my first surgery was with Cigna.

My paperwork was sent off yesterday but my coordinator said she sent off a request to find out where to submit my clinical paperwork? Anyways - I hope to hear back soon enough!

what did Dr Hamni say to you? do they have the right "language" to help the insurance approve?

does he think it will go thru?
