Welcome to the Board and good luck with your revision.  I never did well with the lapband and ended up gaining back the weight after I was banded and my comorbs worsened and was so discouraged that I gave up and just had it removed.  Then I gained back a good deal of weight and since my daughter had lost over 140 lbs with RNY I decided to give myself one more chance and am glad I did.  The lapband is not for everyone and I'm still a newbie with RNY but almost a year post op and so far very happy that I ended up having this surgery.  Anyway good luck to you and don't be so hard on yourself!  Nancy.
