rny revision to ds

I had my revision with Dr. Greenbaum in Willingboro, NJ. He's not taking any more revision patients for the next 6 months or so, due to a backlog. He's great, though.

My best educated guess for an RNY to DS revision would be weight gain. Of course many revsions from RNY to DS could be because of RNY issues such as severe dumping, chronic ulcers or any other issues associated from an RNY.  I revised because of uncontrollable weight gain. Most doctors will tell you that after four to five years an average of 20% weight gain of weight lost could be had. Truthfully if you are a super morbidly obese person your weight gain is more like 40-50%. I never got to a normal bmi or even below 200.
