Anybody here have big problems with revision due to difficulty getting past the scar tissue?  If so what happened?  How was it dealt with?

I was supposed to have my band replaced in Nov'09. I woke up to find out that my scar tissue was so severe that they could barely get the old one off. Anywho, I'm now weighing my options as my surgeon does not want to put another band on. Currently, I have no band, but I still have a port attached to my abdomen.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question, but here goes. I had a lot of scar tissue. My revision took 8 hours instead of the 2 or 3 it was supposed to. I had nausea and pain for about a month. It does get better though.

I recently like last wednesday had my revision surgery. I had alot of scar tissue and my surgery took two hours longer than orginally planned, however it worked out and now I am the proud owner of a Realize Band. Band over bypass proceure went well. Still in the liquid phase but so far everything feels good.
