I need help finding someone who has had RNY first and then a revision by Dr. Chapman in Greenville, North Carolina. I have a few questions to ask.

I have no real answer to your question, but I've got to ask---if you had an RNY in 2003, and today you have a BMI of 39.5, have you considered that the RNY isn;t the best form of WLS for you? Have you looked into getting revised to the DS?

I am considering DS revision. I feel it will be the best for me. Thanks for your input.

There is a post a few up from yours, about low BMI.  Here is the link:
http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/revision/4156044/32-2-BMI- high-enough-for-a-revision/

Also, if you can check out my blog for informatio too.

AND.................. Here is the link to "My Latest Posts" there are LOTS of god links there, just keep scrolling through the pages!!!

And, one more GOOD LINK is to Dr. Keshishian's website, this link:
http://www.dssurgery.com/about/publications.php?subnav=0
takes you directly to published research he has done.  The one titled: Duodenal Switch is a Safe Operation for Patients who have failed Other Bariatric Operations, Obesity Surgery, October 2004, V14 (9), 1187-1192

Since this is a PDF format, it is best to follow the link & read the paper on his website.  VERY, VERY enlightning.

I hope I have helped you out!!!!
