Sleeve or DS

That you have done so well with your band is usually seen as indication that restriction alone is enough for you and that would probably do well with the sleeve. However, in your case, I`d take into account that you lost and regained a lot of weight, which is the same like yo-yo-dieting, meaning your metabolism is now in worse shape then when you got the band, making it more difficult now to loose again then it was 4 years ago. That`s the reason why revision patients usually do worse then those who get their first WLS. I don`t have the link, but some time ago someone posted the results of a small study about the outcomes of band to sleeve patients, and the results were rather bad. There can be different reasons for that, but an over-effective metabolism after weight regain can be one of them.
