6 month pre op dr. supervised diet.. what is this???

I didn't have to do it for my lap band, my insurance just covered the procedure. I didnt' even need a psych consult..

What do you do? Did you all lose weight?  I might just do that and see if it helps.

Is it a medifast thing, or just a nutritionist meeting?

When I did it for the lapband, I saw my PCP and a nutrionist monthly. My PCP just noted my weight each month and backed up whatever the nutrionist said. I went to the clinic's recommended psych.

Why do you need to do it this time though?
