Insurance revision coverage

 

Would the insurance cover a revision from the band to any other surgery, just because the person did not lose weight? Could not losing weight with the band be a symptom of complications?

I think that some insurances cover for a lap band revision. Not losing weight could be a symptom if you have a split. The band may fail to some people because they may not be able to eat the way that is needed or because it is a restrictive only surgery and some people may not have the metabolism needed to lose weight that way.
