8 Year Surgiversary Today

Yes, 8 years ago today..... I had an RNY, not knowing that the DS even exsisted. I did know that the Lap Band was NOT for me, though.

And, here I am, been seeking a revision frrom my RNY to DS. And, what a journey the last 13 months have been!!!!

It's amazing how our lives have taken such similar paths. My RNY was also done in 2002, on March 25th. I struggle thinking of it as a surgiversary - more like an anniversary of a huge mistake!

HA!! I hear you on the anniversary thing!!! But, I am trying too keep positive, and learn from my mistakes!!!! It is a TRUE struggle, being in "limbo", meaning, I have my mind made up, but, Just jumping through the insurance hoops!!!!

Keep Rockin' your DS, girlie!!!!! Good encouragement for EVERYONE on this board!!!
