Anyone have an RNY with Dr. Almanza?

Hi there,
I put this post on the Mexican boards but no one has responded so i thought I would try here.

I am looking at revision surgery from lapband to RNY and have narrowed down my search. Has anyone gone to Dr. Almanza for an RNY? I have read a lot about Dr. Almanza doing the Sleeve and everyone seems quite impressed with their experience, but I wanted to connect with anyone who went to him for an RNY.

Hi Colleen,

If you haven't already, you may want to research a revision to the DS.  The DS offers the most effective initial weight loss and is most effective at keeping the weight off.  If you are wanting to go to Mexico, Dr. Ungson is one of the best!  Please visit us over on the DS forum since we have many banders who have been revised from the band to the DS, plus we have several who have traveled out of country for it.  Also check out www.DSfacts.com for more info.  Please know there are other alternatives than just the RNY or the sleeve.
