Honey, so sorry you are going through all this crapola.  It SOUNDS like you really had your heart set on a DS.  I did exhaustive research before my surgery and had my heart set on a DS, and knew I could never be happy "settling" for anything less.

In my humble opinion, your only choice of surgeons HAS to be an experienced, world renowned revision specialist, because of the mess left inside you from the previous malpractice in Mexico.  So going to anyone except a revision specialist would be futile.

I don't believe for one second that you are not a candidate for the DS.  Not one second.  And here's why:  That same doctor said you ARE a candidate for RNY.  That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Go see a revision specialist.

Im soo sorry for your experience, as you know I went to LIMARP also 2 years ago and my experience has been really different from yours, I too had the gastric sleeve at the time was 420lbs since the surgery I have had proper restriction, but have been really strict with my nutritional plan as well as exercise and going again with them for plastic surgery this week. Can this be fixed? I agree with everyone in getting another surgeons opinion, the other thing you should keep in mind is to review the Xray study they did before you left, before they take out the drain they always do that, if this was an incorrect surgery or a mistake it should show it.
How much weight have you lost?

I'll add my voice to the chorus of people recommending a second opinion with someone like Dr. Rabkin or Dr. Keshishian, both of whom are well known for doing difficult revisions, including revising RNY to DS.
    And I'll add that it sounds like your situation is very individual, and what can be done will depend on the details of the anatomy you were left with, as well as the skills and judgement of your surgeon. That makes it all the more important to see the most experienced revision surgeon possible. I mean no disrespect to Dr. C, but the surgeons in CA best known for doing the most difficult revisions are Dr. Rabkin and Dr. Keshishian.
    Don't give up on your dreams! Get that second opinion.

I'm also sending you a pm, look for it!

Wow, I am so sorry that you experienced this!  I am curious if you have contacted Dr. Pompa with this information and if so what was her response.

If she did indeed botch your surgery ad minimum she owes you a refund.  I know this will not fix wht has happened to you but will sure help you get the proper care you deserve.

I am also wondering if there was a language barrier that got you a VBG instead of a VSG. Either way I am sorry for your suffering and pray you find an answer that  will leave you with better weight loss and good health.

 m1=23, M2=11, M3=4(had stall for 3wks), M4=6 M5=6 M6=6 M7=4 M8=3

I am a VSG to DS revison!
