Hi
I will be having my phone consulation with Dr. Greenbaum tomorrow for a revision from a 2001 RNY to a DS. I am a little nervous, any advice on what I should ask him.

Thanks

1.  how many have you done
2.  how many have complications and what kind
3.  how many deaths
4.  how long in the hospital
5.  average time in surgery
6.  how large your stomach and channel length
7.  should be open not lap for revision
8.  lethium blue for leak test
just a few questions i asked when i spoke with him.  if you go to dsfacts.com they have a whole list of questions you can ask. also, if you go to the ds forum you can get an amazing amount of information from virgin ds to revision.  he was very knowledgeable and sounded very kind.  i am in the process of getting all the preliminary stuff done now for him.  i had my rny in 2002 and have regained quite a few lbs. so am looking into ds.  good luck and don't be nervous.  just remember the only stupid question is the one you were afraid to ask.  keep us posted.

Tell him hi for me!

He's a man with a brain + a heart. Rare.

P.S.  My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.

He's a good doctor, and he knows his stuff. He explained the surgery to me in detail and went over all my operative notes from my previous surgery.
