gastrogastric fistulas

I just met with a surgeon and i have two fistulas. I am 7 years post-op with my RNY and now I have to consider a revision. I have gained back most of my weight and am researching this revision. Honestly it scares me and I would love to hear good and bad from those that have undergone RNY revisions, specifically with fistulas...

I can't give you an answer today but I have finally been approved to have my fistula repaired. 

Hopefully I will have my revision the first week of February and should be able to give you an answer on how it went at that time. 

I had my revision, August 19th, due to a fistula. Over the last 4 years I gained back 40 lbs of the 240 lbs. that I lost after my initial surgery August 13, 2002. I've lost right at 60 lbs since then and am doing fine. The revision was a lot easier than my initial surgery.  The only complication I had was a seroma that I developed in one of the 4 tiny incisions.  I do have a hernia that I had before I had the revision and my doctor told me he'd fix that after I felt comfortable with weight and was ready for a tummy tuck.  I started at 484, lost down to around 235 and weighed 292 on the day of surgery.

i had a small fistula and had it fixed in an outpatient procedure. no incisions he just put me to sleep and went through the throught. there was no pain and i went to wal mart the same day. i stoped gaining weight & even lost 20lbs. still have about 60 to lose but fixing the fistula was the easy part.
