I had an Upper GI series done as Dr. Greenbaum requested. It shows that I have a sliding hiatal hernia. Will I have to have this repaired prior to surgery?
Your dr may want to take care of that first or handle both procedures (hernia and gastric) at the same time. My doc thinks I have hernia and if all tests show I do, he's going to do both procedures together.
