I'm just dumbfounded that there is such anger here over MWG!
Then you're not much for reading comprehension are ya. It's not anger, it's just a warning to pre-ops to beware of the psycho. It's wise to disregard the babbling of a psycho.
Do your research using peer reviewed papers and the experiences of real people who've been there and had experience with the surgery types you're considering. Disregard the ranting of psychotic surgeon pimps; who ever they may be.

Excellent advice, Kerry! That's what I've been sayin'. The problem is that a lot of folks get all caught up in the hype put forth by others. I think you remember what went on here in the summer of 2008.
YOU were smart enough not to get swayed, but a lot of people did.
And, might I add ... you look great! Congrats on your success! It's great that you "pay it forward" so that others can learn from your experiences!! I really enjoy reading what you write!

Whatever you do is it truthful, necessary and kind?
So are we to understand that you think it is fine for any and all doctors to come onto the board to answer the difficult questions and correct misconceptions? Because I believe if I go back and research I can find several posts where you plainly state that Dr.'s should take out an ad and find their patients through that avenue rather than troll the boards for them....maybe not exactly like that but something similar...You have never been an advocate for Dr.'s on these boards from what I can remember...
So again, it's just Dr. Schlessinger that you have a problem with, is that it? I think everyone of us here on the boards know that if a Dr. comes on here to answer questions they most likely do so with the hopes to increase their patient load....SO WHAT! If they have a procedure and are good at what they do then let them come...Let us be the judge and determine which procedure we want and who we want to give it to us....Naturally all Dr.'s who come on here are going to get work from their efforts again SO WHAT!
I guess the thing that bothers me the most about you two; MWG and Stacy's Mom is that you seem to think we are all ignorant and stupid and can't make good valued decisions on our own with out your help....Believe me....We Can and we all will and guess what we don't need a bit of help from either of you...

Good for you. I still read a great deal on here and keep up with all that is going on but I never post anymore simply because I have never been allowed to forget MY mistake about my surgery. I thought it was a DS when in fact it was an ERNY and what made it worse was the fact that my Dr. was Dr. Schlesinger. MWG thought he scammed me but it was a simple misunderstanding on my part there was no bait and switch whatsoever. That was a year ago and I still see reference to that every once in awhile so I don't post and keep my problems and concerns to myself. This was refreshing though to see her called out. I truly enjoyed it. Keep up the good work and good luck to everyone in their quest for health and happiness.
