6 month post revision Photo update

A friend of mine sent me this picture because she couldn't believe how much I have changed since having my revision surgery. I'm the shorter one on the left. This was taken sometime in the Spring of 2007 at my heaviest.



6 months post revision taken this morning December 10, 2009


Lost 7lbs with the band after 8 months, had revision surgery June 3, 2009, and have lost 107lbs since the revision. Total loss 114lbs ! ! ! 6 pounds to goal.

wow you look so fabulous.  Obviously the band was not the right fit for you and it appears you found a match.  so great job!!!

Wow! You look fantastic! I just got a referral to a bariatric center here in Maine for a VBG revison to a bypass. I cannot wait! I did lose a whole 30 pounds with the band. But the drawback has been vomiting almost daily for the last 7 years. I hope I have as much luck as you!

I checked your photos on your profile.  You look so beautiful.  Congrats on your successful weight loss!!!

I wish my weight would speed up some.  I too had a band before on April 04, 08.  Now with sleeve, it is like day and night.  I love my sleeve.  It's just that it's coming off very slowly.  Maybe because I don't exercise like I should and being 48 years old might have something to do with int. 

Please tell me what I should do to get to point where you are.

You look WONDERFUL!!!! CONGRAT!!!! I just had a revision of the lapband last Tuesday Dec. 8th. I had the lapband done in 4/08/2007 and lost 20 lbs. I fell great after my surgery RNY. Would you please contact me to discuss how you felt and what your diet consist of after your RNY and what it is that you can and can not eat? Thanks
