Jumping Through Hoops

Well, here we go again. I have been waiting on a possible revision for two months and still no decision because the doctors office isn’t trying to do anything to get this done. I spoke to Stacey in Authorization today and she suggested I go and see my original surgeon again and see if she can get the test done that I need to prove something is wrong with my original rny surgery. So here we go again but maybe this time they will do the right test to find out what is going on and why I don’t get full any longer. We will see what will happen this time.   I really didn’t want to go through this doctor because after I had surgery I called in on night sick to death. The nurse on call wouldn’t talk to me she only relayed information through a telephone answering service. The after care was not very good once I reached the one year mark I was no longer important to them. Anyway if she is the only doctor willing to do the additional testing then I guess I have no choice but to move forward.   I will keep you posted as thing progress. I have missed all of you I just didn’t have to much to say but congrads on all your success.   Sophia

Which test are they suggesting that you do?  Can't your PCP (family doctor) order it?


Since I live in Alaska.... I will have a surgeon do my revision in another state (maybe I can come & stay with you, after my revision surgery & recover?!?!  HA HA)  My PCP has been doing all of the test ordering & such.  And my revision surgeon, I e-mail his staff, since there is SUCH distance between us.
