Introduction

Hello everyone!

My name is Michele.

I am a revision from a horizontal stapling procedure (no longer performed, TG!) to a DS.
My revision was done on June 16, 2005 in Brazil by Dr. Marchesini.

I had an uneventful surgery although it did last 6 1/2 hours due to the revision and tons of adhesions that had to be cleaned out.  Dr. M usually performs 'virgin DS' surgery in about 1 1/2 hours.

I have lost 149 pounds for an EWL of 110%.

My only regret is that I didn't have the DS the first time around, but I had never even heard of it at the time.

I have done some drive-by postings here, but thought I should introduce myself.

I would be happy to get to 'know' you.

There used to not be very many 1 L's LOL, but there are a lot now.  I still get everyone trying to spell it with 2.

My name is Jamie, I am sure you have probably seen me posting a little on the DS messageboard.  I am still currently plugging along on trying to get my revision from RNY to DS.
