VBG to RNY to DS

I am just curious to know why most VGB revise to RNY and not to DS.

I have done a lot of research on both procedures and for myself I prefer the DS.

I am not saying that RNY is not a great procedure - just curious??????

A revision from VBG to DS is more complicated and technically difficult than is VBG to RNY. You just need to find an experienced DS surgeon who can do it safely. There are a few who have the skills; check www.dsfact.com and look up the closest vetted DS surgeon to you and give him a call.

I got a revision from a 1980 stomach stapeling / gastric bypass with Dr. rabkin in San Francisco, I'm sure he could revise you.
