Depressed!
Hey everyone.
I will be 4 weeks out tomorrow, and cant shake this depression. I'm happy I had the surgery and doing well. Satisfied with the loss so far and able to eat, no problem. I cant figure out why I'm so down. I'm tired all the time too. I spoke to the doc on Friday and he said to make sure I'm drinking enough, which I no I was not. I'm also going to the doc's this week to have blood drawn to check iron and blood pressure, which has been LOW! Havent taken my high blood pressure meds since the hospital, as my pressure was too low.
Just wondering if this is residual from surgery/anesthesia.
BTW, I do take an anti-depressant. Go figure!

Hey Angie,
Sorry to hear you are depressed! I would say that it is your weight loss causing your hormones to go crazy.
It should pass, just try to ride it out and get out and do something even when you don't want to.
Maybe if it doesn't you will need to change up your anti-depressant?

It could also possibly be SAD (seasonal affective disorder).
