anyone get approved by aetna??

im looking to have my band revised to an rny...but i have aetna, and they never covered any of my band stuff (originally had harvard pilgrim when approved for band)im not having any medical issues with my band except that it suddenly STOPPED WORKING ALMOST COMPLETELY. i've been hecked, and there's nothing nedically wrong..no slip, no dilation...etc. im sure this'll be a huge fight...any info would be great.

Hi, I'm 20 mo. out from Lapband and 2 days out  from revision to RNY. Never lost any wt. with the band  no other problems with it. Aetna PPO approved  both surgeries without question. I do have several health problems that I need to keep the wt.off so that did push things along. Good Luck! Miss Jean
