Lapband to Gastric Bypass

I had my band out 3 weeks ago, and am having revision to bypass Dec 14th. Can't wait, although I am a little nervous! I, too, had reflux, vomiting, etc. with the band. I got sick of it after 2 years. Today I had a gallbladder us, and it turns out I have gallstones--surprise, surprise! So, now they will be taking my gallbladder out during the bypass--I am glad, I don't want to face a gallbladder attack! My surgeon also says I have some adhesions that may make it so he needs to do an open RNY...anyone have this Personally, with the painful gas issue, I am kind of leaning towards the open anyways...I have had a tummy tuck, 2 port revisions, lapband and a lapband removal, so I'm not sure that an open procedure would bother me, painwise...Any opinions on that Anyways, seems like the band wasn't great for me, either...looking forward to the new journey and wish I could start now!
