Question for those w/ Stoma issues

For those of you who have been told you have an enlarged stoma, and that your food pretty much "dumps right into your intestines", I have a question:

Has it caused you to have "digestive problems"?  I'm asking this because I'm wondering if the sudden rush of food to the intestines even gives it the ability to be broken down or anything. It's kind of an embarassing question, but I feel like for the past few yrs I've had "issues" with not going to the bathroom. (I mean it's like.. a weekly event, ugh.)  No supplements, fiber tabs, flax seed, or OTC products help --my tummy looks bloated all the time, and I'm miserable.  I was just wondering if I was the only one.

It just seems like if our food is dumping right into the gut, and not "settling" it might not be getting the chance to break down properly.

Sorry if this was TMI...lol... I was just curious if it had happened to anyone else.
